How to Use FaceApp
- Launch the FaceApp from the app drawer.
- After being prompted to the Home Screen, you can select between Camera, Photos, or Celebrities icon below the screen.

- Tap the Camera icon to open the in-app camera and snap a real-time photo that you want to edit or apply the filters with.
- Tap the Photos icon to upload a Picture from your Phone Gallery
- Tap the Celebrities icon to upload famous celebrity photos from the web.
3. Wait for the app to process the photo and to recognize all the facial features. If the app can’t recognize the face, you just have to select another photo from your gallery with clearer details.
4. Once done, select how do you want to edit the photo: Editor, Fun, or Layout
5. The editor allows you to apply a wide array of filters and effects. Select among Impression, Makeup, Smiles, Gender, Weight, Face Swap, Age, Hair Styles, Hair Colors, Sizes, Glasses, Filters, Background, Presets, and more.
6. The Fun option allows you to access special effects like Morphing, Our Kids, and other premium effects in a fixed Instagram-size resolution.
7. The Layout section, on the other hand, allows you to build collages, mirror effect, lens effect, and more.
8. Once you are done applying the effects and filters, tap the Save Button on the upper right corner to save the picture on your gallery or to share it to social media (Facebook, Instagram, etc).
Note: Upgrade your FaceApp account to Pro to remove the watermarks and access all other premium effects.
