How to Use United Airlines App
- Launch the United Airlines app from the app drawer.
- The app will ask you to sign in using your existing United Airlines account (via United.com). If you do not have an account yet, you can freely sign up for a new one using the app itself.
- Input all the required information needed, verify and confirm to complete your registration.
- After downloading the app and signing up for your United Airlines account, you will be prompted immediately to your main dashboard. The main dashboard will provide you quick access to Flight Status, Airport Maps, Book a Flight, and Check-In. You can also navigate the tabs that give you access to Boarding Passes, Flight Status, and My Reservations.
- To Book A Flight, enter the Book a Flight tab. Input all the details needed including the destination, date, number of passengers, type of flight, and more.
- Tap the Flight Status tab to check your flight status, boarding position, and gate information. You can also request a mobile boarding pass through the app
- To Check-in for a United Airlines flight, tap the Check-in tab. The page will ask for your confirmation number or the eTicket number, your first and last name.
- If you’re signed in to your MileagePlus account or have a trip added to “My Trips,” access to your boarding pass will appear on the app’s home page along with other details about the flight. Your boarding passes are also available under “My Trips” on the bottom navigation bar.
- You can also access useful tools like Airport Maps and United Private Screening that allows you to watch TV shows and movies on your own device during your flight.
