How to Use Zoom:
- Open the Zoom app from the app drawer.
- Create an account in Zoom to sign in. You can either create an account using your work email address or sign in using SSO (Single Sign-On), or you can also sign in using your Google or Facebook Account.
- Start setting up a Zoom Meeting by tapping the orange “New Meeting” button that appears on the screen.
- Edit meeting settings according to your preferences (such as switching video off for participants, using a Personal Meeting ID, etc.).
- Once you’re done, tap the blue “Start A Meeting” button.
- You can also manage participants during the meeting by simply tapping the “Participant” icon in the toolbar located at the bottom of the screen.
- If you are going to JOIN a Meeting, all you need is the Meeting Link or the Meeting ID provided by the Meeting creator/manager.
- Tap the Join icon. A pop-up screen will appear that will ask you to input the Meeting ID or the Personal Link Name to join in a meeting. You can also change your name from that screen and enable or disable the options to connect to your audio and show your video.
- Tap the Join button and you are good to go.
Other noteworthy function of Zoom includes Screen sharing, Group Messaging, Safe Driving Mode, and File Sharing.
