How to Use PayPal
- Paypal is a well-trusted digital payment app with more than 320 million registered users online. The Paypal app serves as a mobile wallet that allows you to send and receive money from other Paypal users.
- To get started, simply download the PayPal app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
- Launch the Paypal app from your app drawer.
- The first step is to sign in using your existing PayPal account (via Paypal.com) or if you do not have one yet, you can register a new one using the app itself. This app requires you to input your bank details.
- Although you can use Paypal for your online transaction, you can only cash out the funds if you have successfully linked your credit card, debit, or bank account details. After successfully verifying your bank details with PayPal, you can now transfer your funds from Paypal in just a few quick taps.
- To make payments using the Paypal app, you can simply tap the Send icon located on the lower-left corner of the screen. Input the Paypal address of the recipient or select one from your contacts. (you can sync your phone contacts to send payments quickly). Input the amount you want to send and confirm.
- To request payments using the Paypal app, you can either input the sender’s Paypal address or select the sender from your contact list. You also have the option to choose the Split a Bill feature allowing you to request payments from multiple people to pay a certain bill.
