Almost all of the giant tv networks are now embracing the digital platform. The massive success of Netflix brought the competition to another level. HBO, for instance, now has HBO Go while CBS has CBS All Access that provides users access to all of their popular shows. Interestingly, NBC also ventured to the mobile platform and provide an amazing streaming service through their Peacock TV. This is a new streaming service from the NBCUniversal that gives you access to thousands of episodes of your favorite NBC TV shows, movies, and many more. How Does Peacock TV work?

Much like other mobile streaming service providers, Peacock TV works the same way. Simply download the app either from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store to get started. The app comes with a very simple interface that you can easily navigate and explore. After creating your account, you will be prompted immediately to the Home screen that will instantly provide access to NBC shows. The shows are sorted in different categories; Featured, TV Shows, Movies, Kids, News, Sports, and Latino. You can also tap on Channels to see the current shows and their respective schedules or better yet tap on Trending to see all the live streaming including exclusive sports and news coverage.

If you are looking for a specific show, you can simply tap on Browse and input your query to get the results you want. You can also access the NBC Exclusive Originals and they are all available for free. The free streaming service, however, is accompanied by multiple ads which are very reasonable. For premium access and ad-free streaming, you can always upgrade the account to Peacock Premium or Peacock Premium Plus. Premium subscribers will also get unlimited access to the entire library of Kids and Family entertainment including titles from the vaults of DreamWorks Animation, full seasons of Exclusive Peacock Originals, and more.
