Yee is a social media app that gives you the opportunity to meet new friends through video calls and chats. It is interesting to note that the Yee app seemingly served as a temporary replacement for the so-called Monkey app which was recently deleted from the app stores due to some child safety complaints. Yee and Monkey generally work the same way. One of the most notable features of the Yee app is the ability to communicate with strangers. The app will connect you randomly to a different user via video call. The call will last for a short period of time by default but you can extend the time during the conversation. If you are interested to meet new people online, Yee can be a good platform for you.

How do Yee works?

Using Yee is very simple and if you have experienced using Monkey or Omegle apps, you should know the drill. Simply download the Yee app from the Google Play Store to get started. Once downloaded, the first thing you need to do is to create or sign up an account and establish your very own profile. After doing so, the app will prompt you immediately to your home screen. It features an in-app camera. Simply tap the screen and the app will immediately find a match. You have the option to accept or decline the video call. Once accepted, you will now be engaged on a video call with a randomly picked user.

Interestingly, if you are up for a bigger conversation, you can also engage yourself on a group video call that allows up to four users on one screen. If you are not into face-to-face video call conversations, the Yee app also features Instant text chat. To top it all, Yee can also work as a dating app through its Tinder-like feature. Much like Tinder, you can swipe through various profiles and give them a star if you like them and see if you are a perfect match. Safety and security-wise, the Yee app features a more secure technology that allows you to block users that will promote anything related to nudity, weapons, and violence.
