How does the Arlo app works?

Of course, the Arlo app only works if you have an Arlo wireless security camera installed at home. Provided that you already installed the camera, all you need is to download the Arlo app either from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store (depending on your current mobile device). Once downloaded, the app will ask you to sign in using your existing Arlo account or if you do not have one yet, you can easily create a new one through the app itself. The next step is to sync the camera to your account. You can do so by simply scanning the QR code on your security camera. Press and hold the sync button until a blue led on the camera starts blinking. You will hear a happy chime sound when the sync is successful.

The features you can use with your Arlo app depends on what plan you are currently subscribed to. This might include a 2k and 4k cloud recording that allows you to view images in great resolutions. It is also capable of storing 30-Day Video history. With its Smart notification system, you can manage all your notifications and detect any motions within the given radius. It also comes with a Package detection feature that can instantly notify you when a package arrived at your door. You can also personalize your so-called activity zone and be notified of any activities within your selected range. Arlo comes with Premier and Elit Plan and you can also add CVR or continuous video recording feature for an extra price.
