How to Use Dave
- Dave provides paycheck advances and budgeting assistance to anyone in need. Dave will help you avoid overdraft fees, plan for upcoming expenses, and spot you up to $100 when you need cash fast.
- Before launching the app, make sure that you are eligible for it.
- To use the Dave app, you must have a steady paycheck that you direct deposit into a bank account, such as your checking account. Plus, you must be able to show that your bills don’t eat up your entire paycheck and you have some extra money left over each month.
- To get started, launch the Dave app from your app drawer.
- You will be asked to sign up for an account and complete your profile. It is also important to connect your Checkin account with Dave to make you eligible for a loan.
- Once done, the app will prompt you to the home screen. You have four icons to interact with on your navigation panel below the screen; Home, Advances, Banking, and Account.
- Tap the Home icon to access details including your Recent Expenses, Next Payday, and all your transaction.
- The app prevents you from overdraft. You can easily manage your expenses using the app. Just tap the Manage Your Expenses option from the Home page, tap the Add Expenses under the My Expenses page.
- Tap on the Advances icon to request an advance. Click the account you would like to send your advance to, choose the amount of money that you’d like to request, verify your identity, and confirm your payback date.
- Although not mandatory, you are highly encouraged to leave a tip. This is how you can help Dave to help other people.
