How to Use the Geeni App
- Provided that you already have the smart Geeni devices installed at your house, the next step is to set up the Geeni App and take full control of your smart devices.
- To get started, you will be asked to register an account and create your profile. Input all the required details and confirm.
- You will be prompted to your home screen where you can start adding the devices. The procedures per device may slightly vary but it doesn’t involve any complicated hub requirements and each Geeni device is smart enough to connect directly to your home wi-fi network.
- You can add your devices using either the Easy Mode or the Back-Up AP Mode. Just follow the given instructions and easy steps and you are done.
- You can also sync a third-party virtual assistant with the Geeni app. These include Alexa, Google Assistant, and Microsoft Cortana.
- You can also share the Geeni app control with your family and friends. To do so, head over to your Profile, tap on the Device Sharing button, select Add Sharing and then choose the devices you want to share and click on the ‘share with new member’ button.
- Through the Geeni App, you can start managing all your connected Geeni devices. You can adjust the bulbs, turn off and turn on devices, set up timers, notifications, instant alerts, and many more.
