Microsoft Edge

Overview

Internet Explorer will officially bid goodbye next year after its long run. Apparently, the browser failed to keep up the growing competition among web and mobile browsers. Interestingly, Microsoft recently launches the newly revamped Microsoft Edge that promises better and more satisfying browser performance. While Chrome is currently dominating both web and mobile platforms, Microsoft Edge is packed with many impressive and improved features especially when it comes to speed, performance, compatibility, privacy, and productivity. Microsoft Edge also claims to provide you a more personalized browsing experience like no other.

Microsoft EdgeHow does Microsoft Edge Works?

Just like any other web or mobile browsers, Microsoft Edge pretty much works the same way. It comes with the same core function and it is also packed with an overwhelming number of great tools to improve your browsing experience. Simply download the Microsoft Edge app either from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store to get started. Once downloaded, you will be asked to sign in using your existing Microsoft account to sync all your data including your favorites, passwords, and more across all your signed-in devices. You can also sign in with your work or school account but if you do not have an active Microsoft Account, you can simply skip the process.

Users will also have the option to share their data to get a more personalized search, browsing, and Windows 10 experience. When you share data about how you use the browser, it will be used to personalize your experience across Microsoft products and services. Microsoft Edge offers you a simple user interface that you can easily navigate and explore. It comes with a search bar on top with scan and image recognition function, and as well as a voice search feature. The home screen also features site recommendations and top stories powered by Microsoft News.
