Microsoft Outlook

Overview

Microsoft Outlook is among one of the early email service providers in the market. While Yahoo and Gmail are currently dominating the game, it is undeniable that Microsoft Outlook remains to be a strong contender. Interestingly, it offers the same range of services with the aforementioned email service providers. The Microsoft Outlook app managed to capture all the major functions of its web-based counterpart. It comes with a smart Inbox that automatically sort emails and whether or not the email should be sent straight to your spam folder or not. In addition to that, the app allows you to seamlessly organize your schedules, connect your other email accounts, and integrate with other Microsoft products like Office 365, Microsoft Exchange, and more.

Microsoft OutlookHow does Microsoft Outlook Work?

Using the Microsoft Outlook app on your mobile device is not any different from other email apps like Yahoo Mail or Gmail. To start, simply download the Outlook app either from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. Once downloaded, the first thing you need to do is to sign in using your existing email account. You can simply tap on the Menu bar, select Settings, tap the Add Account link, and hit on Add Email account. If this is your first time using the Microsoft Outlook, hit the Get Started button, and create a new account. You can also input your Google account if there is any.

After setting up the account and after successfully verifying it, you will be promoted to the home screen that provides you quick access to your Inbox and the rest of your folders like Sent, Drafts, and Junk folders. This app also allows you to sign in on multiple email accounts and switch from one account to another in just a few quick taps. You also have access to the in-app calendar that allows you to organize your schedules and customize your reminders and notifications. There is also a so-called Focused Inbox that stores all the important messages.
