How to Use Your Phone Companion
- Your Phone Companion is an app that allows you to connect your phone to your PC and access various mobile apps directly from your computer.
- To make this app work, it is important to make sure that you have compatible devices and software. Your Phone Companion is only applicable to Windows 10.
- To get started, download the Your Phone Companion app from the Google Play Store.
- Currently, the app is not yet available for iOS devices. However, the closer counterpart for it is the “Continue on PC” app by Microsoft which comes with similar yet limited functions.
- To start, open the Your Phone app from your PC, select the type of phone you are using (Android or iOS), sign in using your existing Microsoft device.
- You have to do the same thing for your mobile device. Open the Your Phone Companion app, sign in using your Microsoft Account, and tap Continue.
- Tap the “Allow” button to start linking both devices. Once the phone is linked, you can now manage the settings.
- Located on the far left panel is access to Photos, messages, and notifications. You can allow the app to instantly show photos from your phone.
- You can also manage your message settings based on your very own preferences. The same thing goes for your notifications.
- It will now automatically redirect everything to your PC.
- You can also access your favorite mobile apps on your PC allowing you to enjoy your app on a bigger screen, keyboard, mouse, and touch screen.
