How to Use Amazon Music
- Launch the Amazon Music App from your app drawer.
- Sign in using your existing Amazon account. Those who owned an Amazon Prime membership can get full access to Amazon Music Unlimited. If you do not have an account yet, you can also register a new account. Even without the subscription plans, you can still listen to music for free. However, your music streaming will be interrupted by ads and it comes with notable limitations.
- You also have the option to activate “Alexa”, Amazon’s voice assistant. To do so, just tap the Get Started button and follow the simple steps provided in the app and grant certain permissions for Alexa’s full activation.
- Once done, the app will now prompt you to the homepage. This will give you quick access to recommended playlists, featured music, top charts, and more.
- You can also browse songs or albums based on their respective genres.
- Simply tap the song to start playing. You also have the option to add a song to your personal playlist. You also have the option to play/pause, skip songs, shuffle, and repeat. If you activated Alexa, you can perform these tasks hands-free. Just command Alexa to play the song or skip to the next one.
- Enter the My Music Page to access your library. This will showcase all your personal playlists and songs that you liked.
Note: The best way to enjoy Amazon Music is to either avail the Amazon Prime membership or subscribe to any of the available plans by Amazon Music Unlimited. It gives you access to more than 60 million songs with unlimited skips and ad-free listening.
