How to Use Credit Karma

  1. Launch the Credit Karma app from the app drawer.
  2. Sign in using your existing account or if you do not have one yet, you can create a new account using the app itself. Simply input all the required details to verify and confirm your account.
  3. After creating the account, Credit Karma can now pull your credit reports from TransUnion and Equifax. They will highlight all the important items and details to help you understand the reports a lot easier.
  4. The app will immediately prompt you to the main dashboard that gives you quick access to various icons; Credit, Accounts, Cards, Loans, Auto, Housing, Tax, and My Offers.
  5. The app gives you excellent recommendations and free credit monitoring as the system uses its data to analyze your credit profile and make product recommendations that could help you save money. The home page will instantly give you a quick glimpse of whether your credit score is still in excellent shape or not.
  6. The app comes with multiple tools you can use including its Free credit monitoring service where you will get notified when important changes happened to your Equifax or TransUnion credit reports.
  7. There is also a tool called Relief Roadmap that allows you to connect with government stimulus programs, unemployment benefits, debt relief opportunities, loan options, and more.
  8. If you are planning to buy a new house or a new car, you can visit Auto or Housing tabs to help you calculate how much home or car you can afford and see personalized home and auto loan offers, and get a mortgage pre-qualification letter.
