Microsoft Teams is a collaboration app with the sole purpose of helping teams to stay organized and have conversations. It is a platform where you can conveniently create a virtual workplace and manage your teams online. This app is packed with an overwhelming number of amazing features that everyone can take advantage of. It allows you to create a group or private chat, set video meetings, store files (including collaboration on files), and integrate various Microsoft applications.

Features

Manage Your Virtual Workplace-Microsoft Teams allows communities, groups, or teams to join through a specific URL or invitation sent by a team administrator or owner. As a team leader, you can manage all the teams you are part of, create Channels, setup, and schedule meetings.

Audio and Video Chat in HD-The app allows various types of communications including Instant Messaging, Voice Over IP (VoIP), and video conferencing. All of which come with audio and video in high definition.

Private and Group Conversation– Conversation can be done either privately or in groups. You can also communicate with the entire team in dedicated Channels (Channels are topics of conversation that allow team members to communicate without the use of email or group SMS)

Integrate with Office 365 –To get full access to its premium version, you can integrate the app with Microsoft Office 365 and subscribe to any of its fee-based plans.

Education– Microsoft Teams allows teachers to distribute, provide feedback, and grade student assignments turned-in via Teams using the Assignments tab, available to Office 365 for Education subscribers.
