How to Use Twitter
- Open the Twitter app from your app drawer.
- Start by registering an account. Establish your preferred username and password.
- Once done, set up your profile with your preferred username, by adding a profile picture, and by completing your bio.
- To start tweeting, tap the Tweet icon floating on the lower-right corner of the app.
- Input your text and make sure it is not more than 240 characters.
- You also have the option to include photos by tapping the Camera icon. You can also add other forms of files and documents by tapping their respective icons. You can also input hashtags to follow various trends.
- Once done, tap the Tweet button on the upper right corner.
- To retweet, simply tap the retweet icon that can be found below every Twitter post of your friends. You can also react by tapping the heart icon or share the tweet on other social media platforms.
- To mention a friend, simply type the @ symbol followed by your friend’s username.
- To follow people, you can search their username on the Search Twitter page. Open their profile and tap the Follow button just beside their username.
