How to Use Snapchat
- Open the Snapchat app from your app drawer.
- The app will ask you to create or to sign up for an account. Simply input all the required details to register and confirm your account.
- Once done, it will prompt you immediately to the in-app camera where you can start snapping photos or videos.
- The in-app camera allows you to take photos or videos in one quick tap. Just tap the circle icon located on the lower center of the app to snap a photo.
- To take a video, simply tap and hold the circle button and release the hold when you are done.
- To apply filters, simply tap the small smiley icon to access the available filters. These filters will change from time to time.
- To access more lenses, simply tap the Explore feature that allows you to discover different snaps from different users, trending videos, and effects and music that you can grab and apply to your own snap.
- Tap the Scan feature to help you instantly scan barcodes, solve math problems, and identify music.
- You can also integrate other apps with Snapchat. Bitmoji, for instance, is one of the long-time partners of Snapchat that allows you to create your personalized emoticons or stickers.
- You can also use the Snap Map to see where your friends are hanging out if they’ve shared their location with you. You can also share your location with your best friends, or go off the grid with Ghost Mode. Snap Map allows you to discover live Stories from the community nearby, or across the world!
