How to Use WhatsApp
- Launch WhatsApp from the app drawer.
- To create an account, simply input your Phone number and tap the Confirm button.
- Enter the verification code received through SMS.
- You also have the option to import existing contacts into the app. Otherwise, you can input their respective numbers manually. The app is now ready to use.
- To set up your profile, tap the Menu icon, enter the Settings option, and configure it based on your personal preferences. (You can change your name, add a profile picture, or edit your bio for more info).
- To Start a Chat, tap the Chat bubble icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.
- Select your preferred contact from the list, input the message, and tap the arrow icon to send it.
- You can also send photos or add attachments by tapping the paperclip icon or the camera icon.
- To Start a Group Chat, tap the chat bubble icon then tap “New Group”. Select the members you want to invite, enter the name of the group, and start chatting.
- To Start a Phone Call, simply open the chat window, tap the Phone icon, and start engaging on a voice call. If it’s a group, you can select multiple contacts to call at the same time.
Other noteworthy features of WhatsApp include the ability to conduct multiple video calls, cross-platform messaging, and an interactive timeline that allows you to connect with your friends.
