Luckily, using the smart devices, you give your house another level of security. Blink is a home security camera that is recently acquired by Amazon. Unlike the traditional home security camera, Blink offers a wireless system and is relatively more affordable than the rest of its leading competitors. Despite the affordability of this product, the quality and the core function of Blink Home Monitor has never been compromised. It provides the same services that you need to keep your home safe and secure.

How Blink Home Monitor Works?

Using the app is as easy as how you install the device. It is interesting to note that there are three different Blink devices; the Blink Indoor, Blink Outdoor, and Blink Mini. Blink Indoor comes with two-way audio and HD night vision that helps you keep an eye on what’s happening no matter where you are. The Blink Outdoor, on the other hand, comes with additional weather-resistant features while Blink Mini is almost the same as the indoor variant but comes in a smaller size. To start, simply download the Blink Home Monitor App either from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. You will be asked first to create your Blink account.

Once done, tap the plus icon on the upper right corner of the screen. Tap the first Blink wireless camera system option. A system consists of a Sync Module and one or more cameras. Next, a screen will prompt you to scan the QR code or manually enter the serial number on the device. Give your system a name such as “Home” or “Office” and then tap Done. The Sync Module screen will instruct you to plug in your camera and then wait for the lights to display, with the blue light blinking. Once this occurs tap on Discover Device. Start syncing the device by connecting it with the same wi-fi network. Tap Done to complete the process. Do the same procedure if you are going to add additional Blink cameras. You can start configuring the setting through the app and manage notifications and alerts.
