How to Use DISH Anywhere
- DISH Anywhere is a streaming app that allows you to instantly watch thousands of movies and TV shows on your computer or mobile device.
- Take note that DISH Anywhere requires an online DISH account, and a Hopper 2, or Hopper 3 receiver model for slinging Live TV and DVR. (If you have a DISH Online account but do not own any of the supported receivers, you can still use the On-Demand and Live Stream features of the app.)
- To get started, download the DISH Anywhere app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
- After downloading the app and signing in using your existing DISH account, you will be prompted immediately to the home screen showcasing Top Picks, Live shows, featured shows, and on-demand.
- You also have quick access to Guide, Sports, and DVR pages.
- To start streaming, just tap the program of your choice either from the Top Picks, Featured Shows, Live, and On-demand pages of the app. Hit the play button and enjoy watching.
- To manage your DVR Recordings, just head over to the DVR section of the app. You can schedule and manage your DVR recordings all from one place.
- You can also transfer these DVR recordings straight to your devices (iPhone, iPad, or Mac) and watch them offline.
- If you are a sports lover, tap the Sports section of the app and get the latest updates and live coverages. You can also use the app to set up-to-the-minute scores and game info for NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, NCAAB, and NCAAF.
