How to Use the YouTube Vanced app
- YouTube Vanced is an app that allows you to watch YouTube videos by blocking all video ads and allows you to play videos in the background, or Picture in Picture.
- To start, download the YouTube Vanced app on Google Play Store or you can also sideload it using the Vanced Manager (you can download the APK file directly from their official webpage at vancedapp.com).
- The interface of the app is very much the same as the original YouTube app.
- You can search for your favorite videos and stream them right away.
- By default, YouTube Vanced doesn’t have access to your Google account. Instead, it uses microG, an open-source version of Google Play Services, to add your account. Otherwise, if you try to use the app, all your subscriptions, playlist, and videos will not be accessible.
- Similar to YouTube, you can subscribe to channels, manage your subscriptions, and be notified of their latest updates.
- You can also access your watch history and your personalized playlist by tapping the Library icon from the navigation panel.
