How to Use Telegram
- Open or launch the Telegram app from the app drawer.
- To start creating an account, you will be asked to input your Phone number
- Telegram will immediately send you a text message with a four-digit code for verification. Enter the code into the app to continue.
- You will be asked to create your own profile before you proceed. Input all the required info such as name and your profile picture.
- Grant the app the permission to access your contacts to determine which of your friends are already using the app and which ones are not yet signed up. You can send an invite to join a chat by tapping on a friend’s name that’s not yet using Telegram.
- To start a chat, simply choose a friend on your list and start engaging in a conversation. Input your message and tap the Send button when you are done.
- To send attachments like photos, videos, and documents, tap the paperclip icon next to the chatbox
- To Start a Secret Chat, go to the Contacts tab, select the option “New Secret Chat”, and then select a friend on your contact list. You can send texts, media, and documents just like you would in a regular chat.
