How to Use Blink Home Monitor
- Provided that your Blink smart security camera is already installed at your home, all you need is to set up the Blink Home Monitor app to take full control of your smart device.
- To get started, simply launch the Blink Home Monitor app from your app drawer.
- The first step is to create your account. Simply input all the required details to register and confirm.
- Once done, tap the plus icon on the upper right corner of the screen.
- Tap the first Blink wireless camera system option. A system consists of a Sync Module and one or more cameras.
- Next, a screen will prompt you to scan the QR code or manually enter the serial number on the device.
- Give your system a name such as “Home” or “Office” and then tap Done.
- The Sync Module screen will instruct you to plug in your camera and then wait for the lights to display, with the blue light blinking. Once this occurs tap on Discover Device.
- Start syncing the device by connecting it with the same wi-fi network. Tap Done to complete the process.
- Do the same procedure if you are going to add additional Blink cameras. You can start configuring the setting through the app and manage notifications and alerts.
- Connect Blink Outdoor, Indoor, or Mini to select Alexa-enabled devices for voice commands at home. You can use your voice to stream live video, play recorded clips, arm and disarm your camera, be alerted to motion, and more.
