How to Use ES File Explorer
- Launch the ES File Explorer app from your app drawer.
- If this is your first time using the app, you will be asked to grant permission to access files.
- Once done, the app will prompt you immediately to the main screen that will give you a quick view of local content, the amount of internal storage available, and access to the main management tools.
- ES File Explorer manages how and where storage is used to optimize device performance and connects to devices on your LAN, such as Windows machines and their shared folders.
- Tap the Menu icon to view the list of things you can do with the apps.
- When browsing the file system, navigate the same way you would use a file manager on a desktop system. Tap a folder to descend into it, and tap a file to launch it. (The same thing goes with other functions such as moving, copying, and more.)
- You can also decompress ZIP or RAR files, access the contents of documents in many different file types, and even access the content on your computer via a WiFi network.
- The app also comes with an internal music player, Internal image viewer, and Internal text editor. You can choose to use built-in utilities for faster and better performance.
