How to Use Xfinity Stream
- Take note that Xfinity Stream is not a stand-alone app. It is important to mention that Xfinity Stream is only available for Xfinity Internet or cable customers. If you are an Xfinity Internet subscriber, all you need to do is to download the app to enjoy its extra features.
- Once downloaded, simply launch the Xfinity Stream app from your app drawer.
- Tap the Get Started button and simply input your Xfinity account details.
- Tap Yes to accept the Terms of Activation and you are good to go.
- The app will prompt you immediately to your home screen which instantly displays all the recommended shows, shows that you have recently watched, and more.
- The left panel of the screen will give you bigger options. It allows you to view all the recordings you have saved (including those you have scheduled, and contents that you have downloaded or purchased). It also gives you access to Live programs and on-Demand shows.
- To browse for a program, simply input the title of the show on the search bar and wait for the results.
- You can also filter the result by selecting the genre and year.
- Take note that the channels or programs you want to watch must be included in your subscription package or they might be available as downloadable contents.
- You can also cast from your smartphone or tablet to the big screen with Chromecast and other supported TVs
