How does the Numbers app work?

Using the Numbers app is not really complicated at all. It features a very simple and user-friendly interface that you can easily navigate and explore. Simply download the app from the Apple App Store to get started. Once downloaded, you can now start creating your spreadsheet. Simply tap the Create Spreadsheet to start a new one or if you were able to save some previous project, all of them will be listed on the splash screen. You can also manually search for a particular project or sort the spreadsheets by date or by name. There are also small icons on the upper right corner of the screen that allows you to create a new spreadsheet, share, and edit spreadsheets.

After clicking the Create Spreadsheet icon, it will ask you to choose a template. There are over 30 Apple-designed templates to start with. Whether you need it for a Business, Education, or Personal Finance template, there are lots of templates to choose from. You can freely choose any of these pre-made templates if you do not wish to start from scratch. With the Smart Zoom feature, you can easily zoom in and out the page for a clearer view of your project. Much like Excel, Numbers is also capable of creating multiple sheets. Simply tap the plus icon on the upper left of the current spreadsheet to open a new one. You can also tap the plus icon on the upper right to pick a new template for your newly created sheet. Generally, Numbers comes with the same core functions as other Spreadsheet applications. Knowing that this is an Apple-designed product, iOS users will find this app extremely useful and beneficial.
