How to Use Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App
- Launch the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app from your app drawer.
- Make sure that your device is already connected to your printer either by connecting to the same network that the printer is on or by connecting directly to the printer with wireless direct.
- Agree on Terms and Conditions and grant several permissions to continue.
- Tap the Add Printer button located on the upper left corner of the screen.
- Tap “Register Printer” and the app will then search for compatible printers that are on the same network as your device. Select your chosen printer to complete the setup.
- The app will prompt you next to your Canon Print Dashboard that contains numerous tap-based buttons that allow you to Print and scan instantly from your device.
- Make sure that your Printer is compatible with the app. Canon Print is compatible with most wireless PIXMA MG All-in-one Line up from PIXMA MG2920 to PIXMA MG7720. It is also compatible with PIXMA iP8720 Crafting Printer, PIXMA iP110 Inkjet Photo Printer as well as the PIXMA Wireless Office All-in-one line up.
- Tap the Photo Print icon to print images to your printer directly from your phone.
- Tap Document Print to print documents.
- Tap Scan to scan photos or documents from your mobile to the compatible printer you are connected with. With this app, you can also seamlessly scan with a connected printer and save documents and photos as PDF or JPEG
- You can also link the Canon Print app to PIXMA/MAXIFY Cloud Link service which allows you to link with the various cloud services and print photos and documents from SNS or the photo-sharing site.
- If your printer doesn’t have an LCD screen, you can adjust your copy settings from your device. Take a picture of a document with your smart device and apply an auto skew correction for a print.
